Orchid Fertilizer Sprays FAQs
Most orchids benefit from weekly foliar feeding. Orchid Grow is helpful during the resting period when your plant is building strength, while Orchid Bloom supports the development of buds as blooming season approaches. A consistent weekly routine keeps orchids nourished and encourages a predictable growth cycle.
No. You can move from Grow to Bloom at any time based on where your orchid is in its cycle. Some growers switch fully to Bloom ahead of the flowering season, while others alternate the two sprays throughout the year. Both approaches are safe because the formulas are gentle enough for ongoing use.
Your bottle arrives empty on purpose. Inside, you will find two concentrated refill packets for TWO full bottles of fertilizer. Simply pour one packet into the bottle, fill it with water, shake gently, and your spray is ready to use. We also offer concentrated refill packs (sold separately). Each refill packet makes 50 bottles, saving you cost and reducing waste.
Mist the leaves, aerial roots, and the surface of the growing media if your orchid has exposed roots. These areas naturally absorb moisture and respond well to foliar feeding. Avoid spraying open flowers to keep the petals clean and unmarked.
These formulas work well with popular indoor orchids, including Phalaenopsis, Oncidium, Cattleya, Vanda, Epidendrum, Miltonia, and Cymbidium. They can be used on both potted and mounted orchids and are gentle enough for many tropical houseplants that appreciate foliar feeding.
They can support healthier growth, making blooming more likely. Regular foliar feeding helps orchids store energy, strengthen roots, and produce stronger spikes when they enter their natural blooming season. While fertilizer cannot force an orchid to bloom immediately, a consistent routine creates conditions that encourage flowering.
Yes. The sprays help support the mother plant while it produces new growth. If you want to propagate your orchid further, you can pair these sprays with our Crazy Keiki Cloning Paste, which is formulated to encourage baby orchids on healthy flower spikes.
