FOR ORCHIDS

Originally formulated for orchids, keiki paste will give your orchid extra flowers - or even an entirely new plant. Apply some paste to the nodes higher up on the flower spike to encourage more blooms and lower down on the leaf nodes to encourage your plant to make a WHOLE NEW BABY ORCHID (aka - a keiki!).

A baby orchid that is left on the mother plant will bloom in sync with the mother plant after just TWO years. This creates an unusual and vibrant flower display. Or you can remove and repot the keikis to expand your own orchid collection or give them as gifts to friends.

FOR OTHER HOUSEPLANTS

Got leggy plants? Sure, you can prune or “chop and prop”, but why not try filling out those vines or stems by adding paste to a few nodes in between leaves and branches?

Keiki paste may seem like a miracle goo, but it’s really based on nerdy science. The ingredients in Crazy Keiki Cloning Paste encourage new growth. So to ensure the most prolific outcome, set your plants up for success by giving them the right light, water, soil, and nutrients. A happy mama plant will give you the most robust keikis!

Keiki Paste FAQs

What is keiki paste?

Keiki paste is a fun and seemingly magical goo used to clone orchids, create new orchid blooms, and generate new growth on just about any healthy houseplant. Keiki paste works by using a plant growth hormone called cytokinin to bio-hack a plant’s dormant nodes, encouraging those nodes to activate and sprout new vegetation.

What are the ingredients in keiki paste?

At its simplest, keiki paste is made of a plant hormone called cytokinin and the water-resistant base, lanolin. Crazy Keiki Cloning paste is made in the USA from the highest quality ingredients.

What sets us apart is our highly tested proprietary blend of lanolin, cytokinins, and vitamins that not only promotes maximum results but also protects and helps your plant heal during its regenerative process. You can read more about keiki paste ingredients here.

Is keiki paste worth it?

Keiki paste allows orchid and houseplant lovers to propagate their collections inexpensively. Using keiki paste, you can even save money by creating more plants from the ones you already have.

Does keiki paste really work?

Yes! Keiki paste may seem like a miracle goo, but it’s really based on nerdy science. The ingredients in Crazy Keiki Cloning Paste stimulate new growth when properly applied to plant nodes. But to ensure the most prolific outcome, set your plants up for success by giving them the right light, water, soil, and nutrients. A happy mama plant will give you the most robust keikis!

Why is Crazy Keiki Cloning Paste better than other keiki paste?

The original, trademarked Crazy Keiki Cloning Paste contains a highly tested, proprietary blend of lanolin, cytokinins, and vitamins formulated for optimal growth outcomes for your orchid and other plants. The addition of other ingredients optimizes the effects of this keiki paste. We may be biased, but Crazy Keiki Cloning Paste is the best choice for orchid hobbyists and houseplant lovers, and over 4,000 five-star reviews from happy fans agree!

What's included with Crazy Keiki Cloning Paste?

What plants can I use keiki paste on?

Keiki paste is not plant-specific. The biology of keiki paste works the same on just about any plant, but we recommend using it on healthy plants during their growth cycles for best results! What does keiki mean?

Keiki means “child” or “offspring” in Hawaiian. Keiki paste is aptly named because it creates new baby shoots from the parent plant.

How do you make keiki paste?

Yep! While it’s not really cost effective, definitely more messy, and easy to purchase online here, for those who love DIY, it's also possible to make your own keiki paste. There are several recipes online that have the wrong ingredients, so we suggest following our simple two-ingredient keiki paste recipe.

Is keiki paste the same as rooting hormone?

Keiki paste is not a rooting hormone, so if you’re trying to get a cutting to grow roots, you’ll need a different product with auxin, the growth hormone specific for generating roots.

How do you use keiki paste on orchids?

Is keiki paste just for orchids?

No! While keiki paste doesn't magical things to orchids, you can apply it to the node of just about any plant to stimulate new foliage growth.

Try it on a leggy vine like a Pothos or succulent like a donkey tail or string of pearls to fill in some of those empty areas. Got a rubber tree or fiddle leaf fig with a bald spot? As long as your plant is healthy and growing, keiki paste can do its magic.

Is keiki paste toxic to pets?

Keiki paste is safe for pets and humans. The active ingredients are not toxic in such small quantities. The main ingredient, lanolin, comes from sheep’s wool and is non-toxic. Breastfeeding moms even use lanolin to heal and protect chapped nipples, as it is safe for newborns to ingest.

That said, it's always better to keep non-food substances away from pets and kids - save your keiki paste for your plants.

Why didn't keiki paste work on my plant?

Keiki paste cannot rectify underlying plant health problems. The health of the mother plant will ultimately determine how much potential growth energy is available for keiki paste to be effective. Proper care involving sunlight, water, and fertilizer remains indispensable for plant health.

How long does it take keiki paste to work?

After applying keiki paste to a scored node of your orchid or houseplant, you should expect to see signs of development in one to three weeks. This time may vary, though, due to the health of the mother plant, the type of plant, and growing conditions. Full keiki growth will also depend on these factors. Give your plant the best care possible, and be patient!

Can keiki paste fix my leggy plants?

Keiki paste helps promote new growth points on your leggy plants, and if your plant is receiving proper care and optimal conditions, this can result in filling out empty, bald spots on plant and transforming your leggy plants into full, lush specimens again.

Worked within two weeks on bare pothos nodes and purple heart tradescantia

I applied the paste to the nodes of pothos and purple heart tradescantia where the stems were leafless and bare. The buds of new branches became visible within about two weeks. I also applied the paste to the stems of dracaena, but no new growth is visible yet. That is not a surprise given the slower growth pattern.

Your plants will love this

Wow works like a miracle! I used this on my pathos, begonias, monstera, string of hearts, and prayer plant. Every one of them got new growth or filled out in spots that were loosing leaves. Just make sure you're adding fertilizer to the roots and use this to grow leaves

Great purchase.

This product is a must have for any plant lover. Fiddle leafs are very beautiful but pricey so I was heartbroken when mine started to lose it’s leaves. I know this product is made for orchids but I figured it was worth a try and used it on my fiddle leaf tree and it sprouted a whole new branch full of leaves. I can’t wait to see what other plants it can help.

It works well!

I applied this to a few plants a month ago. This one (Everest succulent) went CRAZY with all the keikis! I also used it on Pothos and a pepperomia with amazing results.
